이상반응

1) 과민반응 : 때때로 안검염, 드물게 안검피부염 등. 이와 같은 증상이 나타나는 경우에는 투여를 중지한다.
2) 눈 : 때때로 결막충혈, 자극감, 눈곱, 가려움, 작열감, 안구건조증, 불편감, 이물감 드물게 결막염 등. 이와같은 증상이 나타나는 경우에는 투여를 중지한다.
3) 기타 : 때때로 알레르기, 등통증, 기관지염, 기침, 월경통, 발열, 부비동염, 재채기, 코막힘
4) 첨가제 : 이 약은 인산염을 포함하고 있다.
상당한 각막 손상이 있는 일부 환자에서 인산염 함유 점안액의 사용과 연관되어 각막 석회화의 사례가 매우 드물게(0.01% 미만) 보고된 바 있다.

Mechanism of Action	Pemirolast에 대한 Mechanism_Of_Action 정보 Pemirolast binds to the histamine H1 receptor. This blocks the action of endogenous histamine, which subsequently leads to temporary relief of the negative symptoms brought on by histamine. Pharmacology	Pemirolast에 대한 Pharmacology 정보 Pemirolast is used for the prophylactic treatment of itching of the eye associated with allergic conjunctivitis. Pemirolast potassium is a mast cell stabilizer that inhibits the in vivo Type I immediate hypersensitivity reaction. Pemirolast inhibits the antigen-induced release of inflammatory mediators (e.g., histamine, leukotriene C4, D4, E4) from human mast cells. Allergic reactions lead to cell-degranulation and the release of histamine (and other chemical mediators) from the mast cell or basophil. Once released, histamine can react with local or widespread tissues through histamine receptors. Histamine, acting on H₁-receptors, produces pruritis, vasodilatation, Pemirolast is a histamine H1 antagonist. It competes with histamine for the normal H₁-receptor sites on effector cells of blood vessels. Description	Pemirolast에 대한 Description 정보 Pemirolast is an antiallergic agent. Pemirolast potassium is a slightly yellow powder soluble in water; as an ophthalmic aqueous sterile solution is used for the prevention of itching of the eyes caused by allergies such as hay fever, and allergic conjunctivitis.
